Pawsome Pawtraits full of love, laughter and waggy energy.
Natural, relaxed pet photography for dogs, cats and their people captured outdoors or at home across Sydney’s Lower North Shore.
Hi, I’m Jana, the photographer behind Pawsome Smiles.
I create joyful, natural portraits that celebrate your pet’s personality: the cheeky looks, the soulful eyes, the zoomies, and the quiet cuddles.
No stiff posing. No pressure. Just genuine moments, captured beautifully.
Your Experience
I photograph dogs, cats and the people who love them, capturing natural moments full of personality and connection. Sessions take place outdoors or at home – wherever your pet feels happiest.
-
Every session is easy, calm and enjoyable for both you and your pet. There’s no rushing and no pressure to “perform.” We move entirely at your pet’s pace, allowing plenty of time for play, sniff breaks, exploration or quiet cuddles. This gentle, pet-first approach helps your pet feel safe and comfortable, resulting in natural expressions, waggy tails, curious looks and genuine moments.
-
You won’t be asked to pose or do anything that feels awkward or forced. I’ll gently guide you with simple tips, so everything feels natural and easy. The focus is on real moments, genuine connection and capturing your pet’s true personality.
-
After your session, you’ll receive a gallery of professionally edited images, created with printing in mind. From there, you can choose your favourite photos to turn into beautiful, lasting pieces for your home.
Your images can be made into stunning wall art, including canvases in a range of sizes, modern metal prints, and elegant glass blocks—designed to be enjoyed every day.
For the most luxurious experience, I also offer beautifully designed coffee-table-style photobooks, a timeless way to tell your pet’s story and create something you’ll treasure for years to come.
